Short-Term Temporary
This employment opportunity is our most popular providing you with the ultimate in work schedule flexibility in a constantly changing work environment. You may work with many different client companies, make a lot of new friends, and enrich your life with a variety of new job experiences. You will gain valuable, on-the-job training for a variety of positions or sharpen your skills at the position you like best. The decision is yours.

Long-Term Temporary
Often, a client company has a special project that may last from several weeks to several months for which they require additional help. These companies will call DSS to fill that long-term but temporary need. These positions offer more stability and less change than the short-term positions and allow you more time to hone your skills at a particular job. These positions also lead to permanent employment more often than the short-term temporary positions but again, the decision is yours.

DSS Direct
DSS Direct is DS Solutions' direct-hire program in which we fill permanent, long-term positions for client companies. If you are looking for a permanent position and want a dedicated recruiter who will work hard to keep you working and never charge you for its services, then tell the DSS professional that you want DSS Direct.

Do You Have What it Takes?

In order to seek employment with DS Solutions you must first provide and submit to the following:

Verification of legal United States work status with your choice of any INS approved documents, such as:

  • Social Security Administration Card
  • Alien Registration Card (Permanent Resident Card)
  • Valid state photo ID - Original
  • Passport

You must also provide a verifiable work history, consent to a criminal background check, pass a pre-employment drug test and submit to random monthly drug screening. You should also have a working telephone number.

DS Solutions employees are subject to drug screening by any one of four methods:

Pre-Employment - ALL job applicants at DS Solutions undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs as a condition of employment prior to being assigned to any position at any client facility. Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment.

Post-accident screening is mandatory following ALL accidents or injuries in the workplace.

For-cause screening is conducted when it is the company's belief that a drug problem exists, such as evidence of drugs, fights or other behavioral symptoms of drug abuse, negative performance, excessive absenteeism or tardiness.

Random testing is conducted monthly. ALL employees have an equal chance of being chosen.

APPLICANT SCREENING

Prior to employment with Diversified Sourcing Solutions, all applicants must submit to our rigorous screening process.

Social Security Verifications
By utilizing more stringent screening techniques in addition to our drug-free workplace program, we can provide our clients with quality employees. We have found 30% of workers' compensation claims are submitted by individuals with fraudulent social security cards. In response to these statistics, Diversified Sourcing Solutions verifies all new employees' social security cards.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing
We know the statistics & understand the importance of providing you a safe, drug-free employee.

  • 77% of adult illicit drug users are employed
  • 20% of young workers admit using marijuana on the job
  • Substance abusers are 2.5 times more likely to be absent eight or more days a year
  • Substance abusers are 1/3 less productive

Criminal Background Checks
Diversified Sourcing Solutions uses various services and techniques to check for criminal background information among all applicants. Background checks are completed within a matter of minutes at each DS Solutions office. Reference Checks are performed to verify the accuracy of each applicant's past employment.
